For a private consumer buying in the ASFINAG shop or app, the 2-month and annual digital vignettes can start no earlier than the 18th day after purchase. The 1-day and 10-day products can start immediately. Always check the start date shown for your chosen product and sales channel before payment.

2027 onwards: digital only. ASFINAG is issuing the traditional adhesive sticker for the last time in 2026. From 2027 the digital vignette is the only product, so plan on a registration-plate-linked purchase rather than a windscreen sticker.

Use one simple system: verify each planned toll product before the trip, store confirmations offline, and keep a payment backup card in the vehicle.
