Hold the arrival base first
Most readers already have the route. Lock a refundable Cortina or Ortisei hotel with parking, then keep tours or rental pickup as the optional layer instead of juggling three equal decisions.
The route between Ortisei and Cortina d'Ampezzo is about 65 km, with direct driving around 1h 30m. Plan 1.3x direct time if you want scenic stops without rushing.
Driving Cortina d'Ampezzo to Ortisei or Seceda? The 65 km route takes about 1h 30m in either direction. For Seceda, park at the valley station in Ortisei (over 250 spaces) and ride the two-stage Ortisei–Furnes–Seceda cableway from the village centre. From summer 2026 the Seceda cableway runs on fixed 30-minute time slots with online pre-booking — reserve your slot before leaving Cortina, as popular times sell out.
Routing logic: Lock high-value stops first, then treat all extra stops as optional based on weather and traffic.
The best stop list depends on your actual corridor, travel date, and parking setup, so final stop selection should always be based on live route checks.
