Introduction
Cortina d'Ampezzo is the premier resort town of the Italian Dolomites, surrounded by some of the most dramatic vertical rock formations in the Alps. Known as the 'Queen of the Dolomites,' Cortina combines upscale Italian mountain culture with world-class hiking, driving, and skiing. - The Tre Cime di Lavaredo toll road fills up fast in summer. Arrive before 08:30 or after 16:00.

- The Sella Ronda driving loop is accessible from Cortina via the Falzarego and Giau passes.
